Scott Stender was Director of Photography and Line-Producer for this Massachussets-based company. Utilizing Magnetic Image Video’s new HD Flypack, he pulled together a 4-camera, 4-day HDX-900 shoot with famed guitarist Joe Satriani at the legendary Plant Studios in Sausalito. “Surfing with the Alien” himself was an out-of-this-world experience for Scott and his local crew (David Langsam, Ken Martini, Dan Shimer, Kaelin Baraty). Now we all want to learn to play guitar Satch-style!
