SONIA DADA - TEST PATTERN (wallpaper)

(Digit Post) The challenge here was to attempt to "fix" an edit on an estimated 700 hours of original 35mm footage shot for Sonia Dada’s new album, "Test Pattern". The goal was to make an album-length movie from the footage, cutting to the 12 songs supplied, and have a dvd ready for release with the cd. It was brought to Digit with 3-week edit deadline and totally re-worked from the previous edits by associate editors Liz Canning and Jamie Campana. The approved final version included a half-hour "movie" with a completely made-up visual storyline and a longer, full album-length "Wallpaper" of heavily treated special effects videos. The band loved the trippy "Wallpaper".
